opening note (feel free to just click the entire entry): finally doing this. 

in general, i find that girl group fans on twitter are more inclined to detest rps and all of its associated benefits. due to this, i tend to talk more about boy group rps in public and use my burner to go crazy over girl group rps because people tend to not enjoy it. i was talking to sam about twice rps and she said something like “i didn’t know you take twice rps so serious!” 

it’s also why i notice people tend to say i talk about boy groups more. guys, it’s not because i like them more, it’s because everyone gets mad when i start talking about lesbian kpop rps. which, ironically, is funny. i’m literally a lesbian? anyway, i’m going to talk about ships now. 

look here:

1. twice. (2015 - current).

   1. ship listing. (or something): when you are me, and jessica’s departure from snsd still hurts real bad, and the evil people over at jyp entertainment use this against you by launching a show called sixteen. and you vote for sana the whole time, and then you also vote for mina and momo because of the friendship and then they eliminate momo. and then sana makes dahyun cry? 

and then they bring back momo at the end of the show and twice is nine and you stan since the start. and then twice fans become unbearable so you choose to focus all your energy on like, lovelyz instead. ANYWAY…

1. nayeon/sana: it is very serious. as said in the dms of my old pal sam who may or may not even see this, [when you as a woman are in a group with another woman for several years and you refuse to address the homoerotic tension that happens every time we start to speak. and it will continue because you both will never try to address it ever.] yeah. that’s sana and nayeon. also stated by me was, [something something i know what you (sananayeon) are and im properly monitoring the situation.]

it’s mostly started in 2016, but then it just really exploded for me in the last few years. mainly, sana and nayeon were just a little two-pick ship for me, and i didn’t think much of it. but there’s an old twice clip of nayeon putting sana’s hand in her jacket and then the vibes become lesbian adjacent and i was sent into a slow but steady spiral. like, nayeon being lesbian adjacent in basically wanting to sing born this was at that twice concert and watching every lesbian film she can find versus sana being hetersexual but lesbian adjacent with her fanservice. but then the fanservice over the years start becoming less and less as she starts showing her earth sign places (nayeon also has earth sign placements) so now she’s just lesbian but not really.

also would like to fully uncover and map out the nayeon/sana/momo shared dorm timeline. something happened there. 

2. sana/momo: speaking of, when you and your group mate are going on strong in 10 years of unironic friendship. and also everyone called you and your friend lesbians (but not with each other) for years and even when your friend was in a heterosexual relationship she could not escape the allegations.

3. chaeyoung/tzuyu: tzuyu girl, GET UP. it’s funny if you don’t look deep into twice wouldn’t the assumption being like gay chaeyoung and hettie tzuyu. no girl. tzuyu is a mess. i tell my friend rachel we need to get tzuyu some lesbian friends and she tells me shuhua from idle and i say “does it look like shuhua has her lgbtq life together? she sent a picture of herself crying over a book 2 minutes ago,” or something in a similar vain. 

basically, tzuyu seems to have horrific chaeyoung disease. and chaeyoung has horrific SOMI disease. it’s all a circle.

2. itzy. (2019 - current). 

   1. ryujin/chaeryeong: (palm to forehead). so like, it’s so funny. ryujin is the kpop lesbian at the moment. chaeryeong, obviously, is not. and everyone thinks ryujin has a crush on lia. (which could be true, even i won’t deny it.) but what they don’t talk about how ryujin is dating a gay dude from nct dream (haechan) who’s boyfriend (renjun) has many parallels with you. even your names can be shortened to rj by fans.

also when chaeryeong and haechan are both gemini suns/gemini placements born basically on the same day. and ryujin and renjun are both aries placements. and also you have alot of parallels as a ship that it’s almost diabolical. 

see: ryujinchaeryeong vlog, ryujinchaeryeong clip in paris from itzy reality show, ryujin giving chaeryeong a birthday kiss and looking like she might die before she does so the whole process takes like minutes longer than it should. 

there’s also another ship. but i’m still investigating it. i hope there is at least one random lesbian midzy who will anticipate.

3. wjsn. (2016 - current). 

   1. jiyeon/xuanyi: when there is a ship so perfect and then the universe takes it away. as said by me in a dm, [like omg…i literally think they are the best lesbian rpf kpop pair😭😭😭i literally havent been able to ship bona with anyone else in wjsn i fear.] and i stick by it. i know k-ujungs love seola/bona but my heart could never invest. there was something so personal and perfect about boxuan and jiyeon’s xuanyi disease. 

honestly like i said to someone, i’m just going to say fuck it and write fic for them. at this point people write rpf for ships that are in hetersexual marriages and they seem happy. wjsn lore is so crazy to me (member wise and all that stuff), and so i have to put myself first. 

2. soobin/seola: why are k-ujungs not aware of this? seola literally goes weak in the knees when soobin is involved, yet no viral tweets on k-lesbian twt? they’ve got it all wrong. don’t worry. i’ve noticed. 

literally one of the few capricorn placement/cancer placement ships in kpop. and you can see it.

4. aespa. (2020 - current). 

   1. i would list ships here, but currently aespa ships to me are only rpf and none have reached rps status aka making me insane. nothing could be more boring and company propaganda ship wise as jimin/minjeong btw. i am so sorry to say (not really), but i can’t see it.

however, giselle literally is the most main character, shippable member in aespa? one day everyone will get it.

5. eternal looming figure (taeyeon/jessica):

   1. don’t talk to me. nobody understands a thing i go through. there’s too much lore in taengsic and one day i might write a 12 page document for it like i did with taehyung and jungkook.

i guess i can say that taeyeon and jessica are one of those standard rps ships that set the bar. not everyone has their kpop verison of kaylor, but this is mine.

6. real lesbians? in my kpop? 

   1. moonbyul/yongsun: there’s too much here bro. just know that they live together and yongsun’s song honey and that entire mini is lesbian. not even propaganda or adjacent. 

dear friend said solar has “pussy eating jaw.” there’s so many layers in that i can’t explain it. 

 

tidbits:

the stayc, yoon/j fic is basically how i would describe the shipin this post, though i don’t have deep knowledge. like i wrote in that fic, yoon is just a dude who likes to pull j’s pigtails in hopes that j can’t tell she has a crush on her. k-swiths have influenced that as well.

sana/momo: they make me dizzy. when you are soulmates and none of your significant others will ever compare to your best friend. when you date a boy to make her upset, to make her feel deeply about you.

chaeyoung/tzuyu: tzuyu is down pathetic. she has made herself unshippable with anyone else in twice. her obsession with their height difference and how chaeyoung's head perfectly rests against her heart when they hug is unbelievable.

ryujin/chaeryeong: HAVE YOU CONSIDERED CHAERYEONG/JAEMIN? idek how that happened but i am completely on board. it's a whole thing. i have also been informed by risa that ryuryeong are no longer bickerbantering with each other. their hearts have been softened, like cheese.

jiyeon/xuanyi: TELL ME THE DETAILS OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP. honestly as a bona stan wjsn fics are so tragic to me because she's so tragically unshippable with the current members (except exy. she gets so flustered around bona and i think it's hilarious). i don't understand seola/bona either but i read what i'm given. RIP to eunseo/chengxiao too. i always think about them.

aespa: honestly i am behind the times. yes i still like jiminjeong. when i talk about 2jin you'll understand why.

taeyeon/jessica: no words. when they finally talk to each other again (I BELIEVE.....) the tl will never be the same.

ok to me the perfect gg ship is loona 2jin [dodges tomatoes]. this is because of something called g1s2 aka glorious 1 and subservient 2, the formulation of my favoritest dynamic (think catradora. think hizzie. think jackieshauna. one day i will post the dw draft that has existed since nov2021). essentially it's this: when one person is the 'chosen one' aka the glorious 1 and the other person is their best friend who has always existed in 1's shadow aka the subservient 2. it's so important that they're best friends and not just like hero/sidekick because the s2 is required to be utterly devoted to the g1 while resenting them deeply at the same time, and the g1 must be oblivious to all of this because they're too pathetically lovesick to notice anything else.

basically i think it's crazy how heejin, the ace/fotg/main everything of loona, is pathetically in love with hyunjin, who the group can survive without. and hyunjin knows this, because heejin's got her heart on her sleeve, so she isn't afraid to be a little mean to heejin whenever she pokes and prods her for a reaction, because she knows heejin will let her. but she also loves heejin enough to feel remorseful when she pushes things too far.
