putting some hcrj rambles from my notes app onto dreamwidth. formatting might be a mess. sorry!

7/22:

• dongren are so so so funny. the way its like people misinterpret dongren a lot and its like only a select few really understand. i feel like i can’t say this in a non-pretentious way (sorry) but seriously people just don’t get them in dreamzenville. “renjun was lying about (blank)?😟” OF COURSE HE WAS!!!!!! renjun is literally sir lies a lot (scorpio moon) like yeah…
• but it’s like renjun gets away with it all because hes genuine about how he feels but also, surprisingly, is the one who causes confusion with his words. meanwhile haechan tends to be pretty upfront/clear with his words and genuine reactions. like of course i do think there was a time in which renjun was being serious but i genuinely think they cleared that up so basically now its clingy renjun vs the world.
• renjun wants haechans attention so bad. amanda said this but like the green room/don’t act close in front of fans thing was probably renjun saying something once and haechan was like “oh? word 😏” and now won’t let it go and renjun, who won’t admit defeat, is like “IM A VICTIMMMMM HAECHANNN WONT PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEEEE🥺🥺🥺” (insert that acting like a victim meme) so its just super funny to watch their bickering.
• also, its funny how mark and haechan’s relationship has fully healed with them dating other ppl. nobody wants to talk about this though but i can tell. your first situationship breakup never leaves you fr. anyways relating this to dongren its like,,,mark who is a dongren ally now is so amusing because he’s so entertained by them and yet he still…can’t…lie. him listening to renjun tell the “hes ignoring me backstage!” story during the patrick show like “ive never heard this before” LMFKAJSSH
• anyways renjun is so so insane. now i’m just thinking of him being like “IM LITERALLY A VICTIMMMMMM HAECHAN IS IGNORINGGGG MEEEE🥺” but he still admits haechan makes him laugh a lot backstage (haechan instantly asking him how could he laugh if he wasn’t talking to renjun/if renjun was asleep?🤨 gagged him…) like renjun is funny.
• mixed with the 7dream pinky thing along with renjun’s scorpio moon + pisces venus combo, someone tell haechan that renjun won’t let him out of his sights like ever. i mean haechan probably loves that but still. it’s very hilarious.

tldr: renjun sir lies a lot vs confusing the masses vs the chosen ones who can keep up with him. it’s queer feminist theory. 

• also renjun keeps using this tone whenever he starts whining about his dont act close to me joke and consequences like idk how to describe it? its very!! very!! new for him if that makes any sense? 

 

• also renjun who gatekeeps all pictures haechan has taken of him and vice versa while haechan wants to post renjun everywhere. i think they’re both adapting to this which is where ✌🏾 theory comes in…dongren you seriously have my heart

• i shouldn’t be so emotionally invested in a gay idol couple but its like i love renjun and haechan as individuals and i love them together so its like extra love + i grew up with 7dream so its like being invested in friends…it makes sense! anyways dongren ily…stay happy and healthy 💙

• i love watching the 2017-2020 haechan go through he’s just some guy to crush of life about renjun. it’s fun because the entire time renjun is literally like “i CAN be normal about haechan actually” meanwhile he’s so obvious about that dumb crush on haechan it’s sickening /positive. like oh my gosh renjun you are so cute i could nom you uppppp…
• 2018 was especially fun/interesting because it was like, mark and haechan started to get along again fully after the summer of 2017. and renjun and haechan were calling each other their best friends a lot more constantly (not a single moment made them realize this i.e best friend/soulmate-isms, it was just such a slow growth…), so renjun was definitely like “oh finally, i can move on!” and he probably thought he did
• then he watched mark and haechan interact on the 180817 vlive and was like “WELL!!😂😂😂” he was fawking furious. haechan was (probably) suffering on the trail ends on that crush on mark so he was super into mark in that vlive (jaemin having to tell mrkhc to stop talking when rj was talking? heol…theres mrkjm layers there) and in that, renjun was suffering. 
• then in september renjun’s crush honey eyes insane act was back he was definitely like “FUCK!” i would’ve been mad too (imagine having a crush and you think it’s finally over and suddenly it’s back??) and the 180904 vlive was probably like, the worst (best) example of renjun’s crush being back in an insane way. poor kid…we can see you renjun btw. 
• anyways definitely for a long time haechan was like “no more crushes.” haha….
• anyways then like, in 2019….LMAO! haechan going from “renjun my best friend” to “hm…i think about renjun quite a lot he truly is my soulmate” and then the end of 2019 he was like “OHHHHHHH. oh 😐” yep…that crush on mark was gone but that crush on renjun was HEREEEEEE!!! and the way it shows itself at the end of 2019 into 2020 for haechan was so funny.
• he had no idea how to navigate that crush in 2020. watching the ridin’ behind cuts and just a bunch of content from 2020…that crush was getting haechan so so so bad….stand up king is renjun that funny? (yes)

 

tldr: 2017-2020 dongren is such a journey. love that. im fucking insane.
