an update about interests these days

fandoms:

honkai star rail is very fun. i’ve been using it to beat boredom these days, besides from reading. it’s easy to access on my phone and since i prefer laying around, it’s preferable. i am seriously serious about BUILDING my characters; when i used to play genshin i never really cared, but hsr i want to be different. my acheron and pela WILL be top characters for me. 

characters i currently want: kakfa (date me), seele (for my bronya), and maybe ruan mei. i wouldn’t be mad about silver wolf either.

speaking more about hsr: the story is fun! it’s pretty good. HOW!!EVER!!!! i feel as though the xianzhou arc was a bit, confusing? lacking? i really couldn’t tell you anything that happened for that section. i am finishing up 2.1, very slowly, and i feel like this arc has been way more fascinating then previous ones. 

also i’ve been slowly reading dunmeshi, and wow! manga is good! i have soft feelings for two white women (farcille) and also am falling for the author. i definitely would have to read this manga more than once, there’s so many subtle story details that the mangaka has done and i want to see if i catch them all. i also really enjoy how ryoko kui explores the typical dungeons and dragons races, and how she draws all of them. something i really like is how the characters can’t tell how old other races are, something about a dwarf being like “why would i know how old a human is” was so pleasing and really built the world.

i also love girlloser marcille. the act of necromancy as healing can be something so personal to my psyche.

i hope to finish it soon, and then i’ll check out the anime? 

speaking of d&d, i’ve been listening to dimension 20 episodes these days. the unsleeping city is actually way more engaging than i thought it would be, i was pretty shocked as i was listening. i’ve always wanted to play d&d but the thought of it always stresses me out, i’m pretty okay with podcasts and background noise for now.
